Event Description

Natural dyes are gaining, popularity after being the only way to dye fabric many years ago.  Horticulture Agent, Carrie Spry, and Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, Shonda Johnston, will talk about what plants you can grow for natural dyes and how to grow them, and will walk you through the dying process using the plants.  The Natural Dye Gardens class will be held on Thursday, July 24, 6:30 pm, at the Clark County Extension Service.  To register, call 859-744-4682, or email cynthia.carr@uky.edu
